Stolen property recovered, two men arrested

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. - Two men are facing a laundry list of charges after Pueblo County Deputies linked them to a series of car break-ins in Pueblo West.

20-year-old Zachary Schworer and 25-year-old Tyler Baker were arrested.

The Sheriff's Office says the investigation began in September when Schworer and Baker were arrested on unrelated charges.

During the original investigation, Baker's home was searched and stolen property was recovered according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say they also searched pawn records associated with the two men and found more stolen items.

Thousands of dollars worth of property was recovered and returned to its rightful owners during the course of the investigation.

Some of the returned items include GPS units, cameras, radios, gaming devices, digital music players, and other electronics.

Schworer is facing eight counts of felony theft, seven counts of felony trespass, nine counts of felony false information to a pawn broker, and one count of misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Baker is facing 8 counts of felony theft, seven counts of felony trespass, and seven counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Both men are being held at the Pueblo Detention Center.
