Woman robbed at knifepoint in Citadel parking lot

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police are investigating a robbery that happened in the Citadel Mall parking lot Saturday afternoon (7/26/14).

The crime happened at 2:04 p.m. in a parking lot on the south side of the mall. 

The victim told police that the robber walked up to her as she was walking to her vehicle. She said the man demanded her property and that he was armed with a knife. 

Following the robbery, the man jumped into a car that was being driven by someone else. He got away.

Police do not have very many details about the robber or the vehicle.

The robber is believed to be in his mid to late 20s. He has a slender build, short brown hair, facial hair and a tattoo on his upper left arm.

Police say the robber was wearing a black skater type cap, black tank top, black skater type shorts and skater type shoes.

The vehicle is described as being silver with four doors.
