Woman threatened with knife, carjacked in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police are searching for a suspect who carjacked a woman Sunday night. He is described as a Hispanic or Caucasian male between 40 and 60 years of age.  

The incident happened at just before 7:30 p.m. at the Natural Grocers on South Nevada Street.

Police say the victim was putting her stuff into the car, when the suspect approached her, threatened to stab her with a knife and demanded the keys to her car. The suspect them pulled the keys from the victim's hand and took off in the car.

The victim's car is described as a 2011 Kia Rio bearing Colorado license plate 068TAA. If you have any information on it or the suspect's whereabouts, call police.

Thankfully, the victim was not injured.
