Gusty winds fueled countless dust storms across southern Colorado.
Colorado state troopers closed I-25 southbound from mile marker 90 to 94, south of Pueblo. The interstate closed shortly after 12:30 p.m. and reopened about 30 minutes later.
Troopers said the visibility quickly dropped to between zero to 10 feet.
Sgt. Jason Jones advises drivers to slow down during dust storms. "Specifically, high-profile vehicles, whether it's a pickup truck pulling a trailer or an RV camper or a semi truck, those vehicles are much more susceptible to being affected by the high winds," Jones said.
Two minor accidents occurred during the dust storm south of Pueblo.
