El Paso Co. deputy injured in deadly shooting in Colorado Springs rushed to hospital

COLORADO SPRINGS - One of the deputies injured in the deadly shooting in Colorado Springs at the beginning of February was back in the hospital on Thursday night. 

According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Scott Stone had to have medical treatment due to complications caused by the injuries in the shooting. He was last reported in stable condition. 

El Paso County Deputy Scott Stone suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach while investigating a vehicle theft at the Murray Hills Apartments on February 5. 

He was rushed to Memorial Hospital where he stayed until February 14. 

El Paso County Sheriff's Office deputy Micah Flick sustained fatal gunshot wounds. 

El Paso County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Jake Abendshan and Colorado Springs Officer Marcus Yanez were injured in the shooting and are recovering.
