Brittany Murphy's final film completed

Actress died during production of 'Something Wicked' in 2009

Brittany Murphy wrapped production on her final film before she died in December 2009, and it might soon be available for viewing.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Murphy finished an independent thriller called "Something Wicked" before she died unexpectedly of pneumonia, iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication at the age of 32.

The post-production on her last film was delayed until this year, and it's now completed. Directed by Darin Scott, "Something Wicked" also starred James Patrick Stewart, Julian Morris, John Robinson and Shantel VanSanten. The film told the story about "obsession and a young love gone wrong," the L.A. Times says.

It's unknown when fans would be able to see "Something Wicked," as the project doesn't yet have a distributor.
