FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. - Charges are now filed against a former lieutenant after evidence in a murder case was discovered in a storage unit he once owned.
The "Canon City Daily Record" says the District Attorney filed misdemeanor and petty offense charges against Robert Dodd.
Right now the specific charges are unclear
You may recall Dodd retired from the Sheriff's Office last month.
He was on paid administrative leave while he was being investigated.
It all comes after evidence related to the 2006 murder of Candace Hiltz was found in Dodd's former storage locker.
