FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. - A portion of County Road 28 in Fremont County is closed after someone found buckets filled with a suspicious liquid on Friday night.
It is closed at Copper Gulch Road near mile marker 13 in both directions.
HAZMAT is responding to investigate the unknown liquid found on the side of the road.
Motorists should avoid the area.
Just before 5 p.m., the road was reopened. HAZMAT determined that the buckets were filled with wild game blood. There is no threat to the public.
