COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Travelers will have another option to fly non-stop from Colorado Springs to Atlanta starting this spring.
Frontier Airlines announced it will add service to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport beginning April 8. Currently, the only other airline to offer non-stop service from COS to ATL is Delta.
That means the airline, known for its low-cost base fares, will operate non-stop flights from COS to 10 cities, including Chicago-O'Hare, Las Vegas, Orlando, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington-Dulles.
"The growth of Frontier at COS illustrates the local community’s appreciation of these additional flight options and that they are utilizing them for their travel plans," said Greg Phillips, director of aviation for COS.
Frontier will offer the flight three times a week.
Frontier says they'll offer fares as low as $49 to celebrate the new service, though it's not clear when you'll be able to purchase tickets.
