Because of the low water level, the long covered, by water, plant life, comes to life!
Taken up behind Blue Mesa Resv. off Rainbow Lake road. The picture is just the way the camera took it. I have a setting called "vivid" and it really makes the fall colors pop!

A walk in the Cripple Creek cemetery Saturday afternoon, we felt like someone was watching us and then we see this stunning owl in the warm yellow leaves of the aspens.
A little early for the colors but the mill is a beautiful historic site

While on a hike with my daughters preschool we noticed that the colors of the leaves were changing and I thought the different greens, yellows, oranges and reds were very pretty against the berries! We LOVE fall!

We host a Free Ride just for our Chapter 405 HOG so this was a view I enjoyed this past weekend on the back of our Bike The whole ride was Breath taking !
9/72012- the leaves were just starting to change went on hike and came across this river the moss was awesome!
I love the flutter of the quaking aspen leaves, especially when the sun is warm and the sky is clear.
Sometimes a simple snapshot captures the crispness of the air and the warmness of the sun...all the reasons we love September in Colorado.

In the Retreat at Rockrimmon we get alot of critters. This one was bold enough to come so close to our front door. The focus was the tree that is so beautiful changing 4 different colors in the fall.
