My mom and I walked down to the river bottom at city park. We went on the back trail on the old railroad tracks. Its such a nice peaceful walk almost like being a different world.
One of my favorite places to photograph, anytime of the year.
My mom and I took a walk down at the river by the city park. Its a very peaceful and quiet place to really enjoy nature's beauty.
Near a campground on the Aspen side of Independence Pass. I imagine having dinner and this being the view from the campsite.
Harvest time in the Palouse area. Different grains and different plowed fields provide a varicolored vista.
The sun had been up for a few minutes before I saw how bright it made the trees while simultaneously making deep shadows on the hills sides.
Up on a hillside, I could see some red aspens. Using my telephoto to zoom in on it, I saw a lot of variety and decided to capture it.

As I was heading towards Cripple Creek, the sun hit the Hillside as i was driving through the road cut through rock. The early morning sunlight red made the fall foliage that much prettier
Wonderful to get out in the Pikes Peak Region any time of year, but this special view was prettier for only a couple of weeks.

The mountainside was lit up with fiery colors, this was definitely a road to serenity!
The puffs of aspen were highlighted by the sun making them look like gold puffs against the dark pine.
Beautiful Aspen on the way home from hiking above Bear and Blue Lakes. The sun was getting low heading towards the back of the mountain. It threw out some amazing sunrays that highlighted the Aspen in glory!!

Not all that common in Colorado, red aspen leaves in autumn can be found and make a brilliant addition to the view.

Traveling southwest on Co Hwy 17 through a sea of gold where very bend in the road brings a more glorious view that the one before.
Stopped on the side of the road to capture this postcard photo. The little mountain road was highlighted by the Fall colors that caught my eye.
Took a drive towards Cripple Creek this past Sunday and oh, what a treat! The colors were beautiful!!
