COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A Colorado Springs teacher has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a student.

Police say they got a call on Friday from a School Resource Officer, at Cheyenne Mountain High School, who had learned about a potential inappropriate relationship happening between a teacher and a student.

Detectives immediately began investigating and found probable cause to arrest the teacher.

Mark Moore, 31, was arrested on charges of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust.

According to El Paso County Jail records, Moore is being held on $10,000 bond. He's scheduled to be in court for advisement on Monday.
