Homicide Suspect Arrested

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A 21-year-old Colorado Springs man is arrested in connection to a body found on Gold Camp Road Wednesday morning.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Marcus Smith for the charge of murder in the first degree, according to police.

Police said Smith was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1300 block of Suncrest Way while walking on foot.

Police identified the victim as 87-year-old Kathryn "Kit" Grazioli.

The El Paso County Coroner's Office has ruled the manner of death homicide. The final cause of death will not be released until an autopsy is complete, according to police.

Police said no additional suspects have been identified or are being sought in this investigation.
