DENVER -

Colorado officials say they are still working to fix intermittent error messages with the state's new health exchange program.

Connect for Health Colorado said more than 468,000 people visited the state's website and created 8,400 accounts as of Wednesday, the exchange's second day.

Customer service representatives have fielded more than 6,400 telephone calls and online chats.

CEO Patty Fontneau said there have been some challenges, including error messages for some customers, which are being addressed.

Coverage doesn't start until January, and people without health insurance have until the end of March to sign up.
