Arrest made in Springs bar stabbing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police have made an arrest in a stabbing that happened at a bar on Nevada Avenue.

Police say Rick Thifault, 40, stabbed Jerry King, 39, at the Robin Hood Bar in the 2800 block of N. Nevada on July 26, 2014.

Police were called to the bar at 2:16 a.m. on a report of a disturbance. When they got there, they found King lying in the parking lot.

Thifault is facing a charge of 1st degree assault with a deadly weapon.
