'Bachelorette' contestant dies following paragliding accident

DRAPER, Utah - A contestant on ABC's "The Bachelorette" has died.

ABC News reports that Eric Hill was gravely injured in a paragliding accident in Draper, which is south of Salt Lake City.

The accident happened on Sunday, April 20, 2014 when Hill's parachute reportedly collapsed. The show was not in filming when the accident happened.

Hill's sister, Karen Tracy, posted on her Facebook page that her brother passed away on the morning of Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Hill was a contestant on season 10 of The Bachelorette, which premiers Monday May 19 on KRDO NewsChannel 13.
