Burglars pistol whips victim in Colo. Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - According to police, three burglary suspects pistol whipped a homeowner before robbing the home.

The incident happened Saturday night at an apartment in the 1100 block of South Chelton Road.

The police report said the unknown suspects knocked on the victim's door. When the victim opened the door, the suspects forced their way in and pistol whipped the victim.

The suspects stole some electronics.

They left in a dark blue car with the front right hubcap missing.

The suspects are described as two black men. One is in his 20s and was wearing a black jacket and black pants. The other man is in his late 20s with no hair and was wearing a black beanie and black hooded sweatshirt.

The third suspect is described as a black woman in her early 20s with a thin build. 

The victim was treated for minor injuries from being pistol whipped and was released at the scene.
