COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police say a woman was hurt when she was hit by a car at the intersection of N. Wahsatch Ave. and E. Boulder St. on Wednesday morning.
Officers said a driver was trying to make a left turn at the intersection when he hit the woman with his car.
A witness, James Clark, said the woman was hit with such force that she was flung several feet away from the car.
Clark said he jumped out of his car to help the woman. She was in a lot of pain, but was conscious and talking.
He said he called 911 and made sure the woman stayed still until an ambulance arrived.
Police said the driver was ticketed after the crash.
