CrimeTracker: Monday morning blotter

Here is your CrimeTracker for the morning of Monday, July 14, 2014:

  • Colorado Springs Stabbing: Colorado Springs Police are chasing down leads after a man was stabbed in the neck. The crime was reported at 2:30 a.m. and happened at the intersection of Bijou Street and 18th Street on the city's west side. Police say the victim is 20 years old. His name has not been released and his condition is not currently available. Police have not released any suspect information or reported making any arrests.
  • Convenience store robbery: A southeast Colorado Springs convenience store was robbed Monday morning. Police say a man who was armed with a gun walked into the 7-Eleven in the 1600 block of Jet Wing Drive and demanded money. The robber is described as a white male, 16 to 18 years old. He had a skinny build and was wearing a beige sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head. No injuries were reported.
