Denver makes 2nd day of pitches for 2016 RNC

DENVER, Colo. -  It's Day Two for Denver to sell Republicans on choosing Denver for their 2016 convention.

Denver has three days to persuade the GOP brass to choose Denver over Dallas, Cleveland and Kansas City, Missouri.

The three-day visit began Monday. The Denver Post reports that marijuana came up at lunch but that GOP leaders say legal weed won't be the determining factor.

Members of the site selection committee are checking out the city's hotels and restaurants as well as the Pepsi Center and Coors Field.
