Deputies investigate Pueblo County shooting

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. - The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says a 20-year-old man was shot at a home just outside of the Pueblo city limits Thursday morning (6/26/14).

The sheriff's office says reports of shots fired started coming in from a neighborhood in the 5000 block of Red Creek Springs Road just after 5 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they found a 20 year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and is currently listed as stable.

"We have been able to determine this young man was not a random victim, someone intentionally shot at him" said PCSO Investigations Captain Don Leach, "Our efforts are focused on finding that shooter.  If anyone has information about this case we'd like to talk to them."
