COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Drivers slowed down and swerved around pools of water collecting on the road as Sunday night's thunderstorm traveled southeast from Colorado Springs.
It rained one inch in 30 minutes in some areas. Water lingered on roadways as the storm continued to move southeast.
Drivers slowed down and pulled over on Interstate 25. It was difficult to see in heavy rain and drive through low-laying areas of the interstate where water accumulated.
Drivers can expect rain through early Monday morning. However, rain will be less intense than Sunday night's storm.
