El Paso County leading state in returned primary ballots

DENVER - The Colorado Secretary of State's office says 59,230 ballots had been cast in El Paso County as of Monday morning (6/23/14).

Jefferson County in suburban Denver trailed El Paso County with 53,519 ballots collected. Pueblo County reported 15,682 ballots had been turned in.

Colorado's Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. All ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. Tuesday.

It is too late to return your ballot by mail. Check with your local clerk and recorder's office to find out where you can drop off your ballot.
