PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. - Officials lift precautionary evacuations in Beulah after humidity helps firefighters battle wildfire.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Department said the fire started on North Creek Road at about 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Officials said 10 homes within a mile of the fire are no longer being threatened. Officials said all roads were reopened Saturday evening.
Officials said the fire burned six acres and is 100% contained.
Officials with the Pueblo County Sheriff's office said fire teams saw flames about six feet high when they arrived on scene.
Fire crews plan to monitor the fire overnight into Sunday morning. Officials said hand crews will move in to monitor hot spots and prevent the fire from reigniting.
