Fire guts El Paso County home

Home unlivable after fire

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - Several agencies responded to a house fire off Buckland Court on Monday night. 

The fire damaged two rooms and spread into the attic. 

"Flames were visible upon firefighters' arrival," the Falcon Fire Department spokesperson said. 

Officials deemed the home unlivable. 

Black Forest Fire/Rescue, Wescott Fire Protection District, Peyton Fire Protection District, Wescott Fire Protection District, and Ellicott Fire Protection District, as well as El Paso County, responded to help the Falcon Fire Department with the fire. The Pikes Peak Firefighters Association Rehab unit also responded to provide food and beverages to on-scene crews.

No one was injured in the fire. 

The cause has not been determined.
