Four killed in Pueblo house fire

Victims found in home during a search

PUEBLO, Colo. - Four people are killed in a house fire in Pueblo on Tuesday morning.

According to County Coroner James Kramer, Harvey Montoya, 62, April Hon, 26, Frankie Anaya, 3 months, and Michael Hon-Montoya, 2, were killed in the fire.

Pueblo police Sgt. Steve Etienne says the fire was reported about 2 a.m. Tuesday  in the 1300 block of East 2nd Street. He says flames and smoke were pouring from the home when firefighters arrived.
Investigators say they are working to determine the cause of the fire.  Pueblo Fire Department Chief Chris Riley says they believe the fire was started accidentally as a result of someone smoking near an oxygen tank.  The official cause of the fire is pending results of an investigation.
