Girl kidnapped in Stratmoor Valley

Returned safely to family, suspect on the run

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - A girl who was kidnapped in Stratmoor Valley has returned safely to her family.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office tells us the 8-year-old was forced into a vehicle on Valley Forest Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.  The suspect dropped her off in the 4400 block of Loomis Avenue about 20 minutes later.

The suspect is described as a bald white man.  He was wearing a green cap and his name might be Jason.  He was driving a four-door blue sedan with a black interior.
