Man arrested after stabbing in Springs

A man is under arrested after an early morning stabbing in Colorado Springs.

Officers say it happened a little before 4 Wednesday morning in the 400 block of St. Vrain Place. That's just south of W. Uintah.

Police say 4 men were in a fight when one of them pulled a knife.

Officers say 41-year-old Herbert Howard stabbed the victim with a 4-inch knife.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital; the wound was not life-threatening.

Mr. Howard was arrested for Second Degree Assault and taken to jail.
