Man gives fake name, fights police

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A man who gave a fake name and started a fight with officers is arrested.

Around midnight Sunday, police were called to 3000 block of Jet Wing Dr. to check the area for people breaking into cars. While officers were in the area, they noticed a man and a girl acting suspicious.

The man gave officers a fake name and birthday to hide his true identity. Officers started getting suspicious of the man and tried putting him in the backseat of a police car. The man started fighting the officers, at which point the girl began to run away. Officers tased the man and captured the girl.

During the investigation, officers were able to identify the man as Nicholas Revello, 20. He had several warrants for his arrest. After being medically cleared, Revello was booked in on his warrants at the Criminal Justice Center.

The girl, who is a juvenile, was served and released to her parents.
