Man injured in hit-and-run crash

FOUNTAIN, Colo. - Fountain Police are asking for help to find the driver of a hit-and-run crash.

A man was hit by a vehicle Saturday night while he was walking in the area of S. Highway 85 and Cattail Marsh Rd.

Police were unable to find the vehicle involved, but did find debris. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a truck. Police say it should have damage to the passenger side, front headlight area.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, suffered injuries to his left side. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
