Man shot in both legs during robbery

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police are investigating a shooting that injured one man Monday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of N. Murray Blvd. at Hill Park Apartments.

Police say the victim was shot during a personal robbery. He suffered two gunshot wounds, one to each leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries. Police say his injuries are serious, but he is in stable condition and is expected to live.

The suspects in the shooting and robbery are described as black men. One suspect is around 6'1" tall and the other is about 5'5" tall. Both were dressed in dark clothing.

Police say there is no threat to the community at this time.
