Man sought as search for answers continues in motel death mystery

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Springs police are searching for clues in the mysterious death of a 35-year-old woman and say a man whose image was captured on surveillance cameras might have information that could help point them in the right direction.

Ursulee Herried's body was found at the End of Trail Motel in the 4200 block of N. Nevada Ave. on July 8, 2014.

An autopsy yielded few clues. Herried's cause and manner of death are listed as undetermined.

On July 21, 2014, police released surveillance images of a man standing at a counter who appeared to be talking on a mobile phone.

Investigators think the man might have information that might help them figure out what happened to Herried. The man is not considered a suspect in her death.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Colorado Springs Police at 719-444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crimestoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).
