Missing woman's car found in hospital parking lot

PUEBLO, Colo. - Police are releasing new information about a missing Denver woman. Kelsie Schelling, 22, was last seen in Pueblo in February. Police say she came to Pueblo to see her boyfriend.

Police say cellphone records show Schelling was in the Pueblo area for at least four days, until her cellphone lost power. According to phone records, she came to Pueblo the night of Feb. 4 to meet someone at Walmart on Northern Avenue. Surveillance video shows Schelling's car - a 2011 black Chevy Cruz - in the parking lot on Feb. 5.

The investigation indicates Schelling parked her car there around noon and left it there overnight. A man picked it up the next morning.

On Feb. 14, police found Schelling's car at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. Surveillance video indicates it was there for a week.

During Schelling's disappearance her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas, was arrested on suspicion of identity theft but was released on bond.

Throughout the investigation, police have said they do not believe foul play is involved in Schelling's disappearance.

Schelling's family is speaking to the media on Friday. KRDO-TV will be at the press conference.
