Police: 10-year-old girls chased by attempted kidnapper

A string of attempted kidnappings in Pueblo continued Friday with two 10-year-old girls reporting they were chased by a man.

Police say it happened around 2 p.m. near Portland Park.

The girls told police they were walking down the street when a man yelled at them to get in his truck. The girls ran to a nearby convenience store to call police. They say the man tried to chase them, but was unable to catch up.

The girls described the man as a Hispanic with a thin build. He has a gray and dark brown mustache, a goatee, gray and dark brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, and a blue hummingbird tattoo.

The girls told police the man was wearing a white, backwards baseball cap with a red or black letter A on it. He was also wearing a white T-shirt with a stripe pattern, long-sleeved button up shirt over it and tennis shoes.

The man's truck is described as a teal or blue '80s or '90s model, possibly a Ford F-150. The girls say the truck has a gray or silver stripe on the side, a wooden rack in the bed of the truck, black trash bags in the bed of the truck and possibly a gunny sack in the cab.
