Police: Four juveniles arrested in Fountain burglary ring bust

FOUNTAIN, Colo. - Fountain Police say they have arrested four juveniles as part of a burglary ring bust.

Police say the investigation began on June 2 with a report of a burglary at a home in the 6800 block of Fountain Vista Circle

During the early part of the investigation, police say two suspects were interviewed and confirmed their involvement in the burglary . They say the two suspects identified two additional suspects and gave information about a second burglary at the same home.

Approximately $2,100 worth of stolen jewelry, guns and other items that were taken during the two burglaries were recovered and returned to their owners.

Police say two of the four suspects were also involved in a burglary at Fountain-Fort Carson High School.

Investigators say numerous stolen items with unknown value were recovered and returned to high school staff members.

The names of the suspects are not being released because they are juveniles.

All four are facing charges of burglary and conspiracy.

Two of the suspects are also facing a charge of possession of a handgun by a minor.
