Police investigate new reports of women being propositioned by man in red truck

Police: Red truck propositioning suspect strikes again

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police say they have received two new reports in a string of cases involving a man in a red truck offering girls and women money to watch him touch himself.

The most recent reports came from the Southgate area in south Colorado Springs on the morning of Thursday, May 22, 2014.

The first report came from a restaurant in the 1800 block of Southgate Road. The second came from the 600 block of William Avenue, near Cheyenne Road.

Police believe the same person is responsible for 10 other similar incidents in the northern part of the city between April 28 and May 19.

Police say the red truck has four doors and may have temporary tags. The man is described as white, 20 to 30 years old and wearing military style clothes.

The victims in the first nine incidents ranged from age 12 to age 22.
