Police investigate possible drive-by shooting

Victim says bullet grazed his boot

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a possible drive-by shooting near the intersection of East Kiowa Street and North Union Boulevard.

Police told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that two people in a car started arguing with a man who was walking down the street.

The victim, who did not want to be named, told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the confrontation came out of nowhere.

"All of a sudden a car drove up the road, turned around, drove up on us and asked us if we had a problem. Then he just rolled down the window and the driver told the passenger to shoot us," the victim said.

The bullet grazed the man's boot.  The victim did not sustain any injuries, police said.

Officers are currently searching for a 1990s grayish BMW and two Hispanic people.
