Police investigate stabbing in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. - Pueblo police are looking for a suspect accused of stabbing a man.

Police responded to reports that a man had been stabbed around 5:00 p.m. Friday on the 1100 block of Bonforte Blvd.

Witnesses told police the victim, Zachery Scanlon, 26, was standing outside yelling at passing cars. One car stopped and Scanlon began arguing with the person inside the car. Witnesses say Scanlon then stuck his head into the car's window and assaulted a man in the car. Scanlon was stabbed twice during the incident.

Scanlon was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect car is described as a white, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix.
