Police release photo of domestic violence suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department has released a photo of a domestic violence suspect.

The incident happened on August 21, 2013 at a home in the 700 block of 4th Street, according to police.

The alleged victim told investigators that she woke up around midnight to find her live-in boyfriend, Kevin Ridlehoover, having a conversation at the table with another woman.

She told police she got up to make tea and Ridlehoover began yelling, threw the pot of water across the room, and then picked her up and slammed her to the floor.

According to the victim, when she screamed out in pain, Ridlehoover picked her up off the floor and threw her into a bed like a ragdoll.

Investigators say that on the following day, while still in pain and unable to move, the suspect and some neighbors put the woman on a foam mattress, folded her like a pancake and then placed her in the back of a pickup truck. The woman told police that a friend drove her to the hospital.

Ridlehoover was later arrested on charges related to the alleged August 21 incident, as well as on outstanding warrants.
