Police search for additional victims in alleged child sex assault case involving former school employee

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police say a former employee at Coronado High School is facing new charges after two additional victims were identified in the case.

Benjamin Wilkerson, 26, was arrested on February 18, 2014. Formerly employed as an educational assistant and coach at Coronado, Wilkerson is accused of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

Police say the victim in the original case against Wilkerson was under the age of 15.

Since his arrest, police say two additional victims have been identified in the investigation against Wilkerson and that he is facing additional charges.

Police say Wilkerson's alleged crimes spanned multiple years and that it is possible that there are additional victims who have not yet come forward.
