Police search for suspect in Colorado Springs double homicide

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A man and a woman were shot and killed in Colorado Springs late Saturday night. Now police are looking for a suspect.

Police said they found the two dead from apparent gunshot wounds on the 2800 block of Juanita Street, behind the Tower Plaza Shopping Center around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

An arrest warrant for first degree murder has been issued for Gary Glen Vigil. He is a Hispanic male, 5'6" 180 pounds with very short hair and brown eyes, police said.

He is also believed to be armed and dangerous, police said.

The area around the Tower Plaza Shops will be closed as police investigate the shooting.

This is the 20th and 21st homicides in Colorado Springs this year. At this time in 2012, there were 14, according to police.
