Pueblo authorities look for Kmart robbers

Police: 2 men robbed woman at gunpoint

PUEBLO, Colo. - Pueblo Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's assistance locating two men accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint.

The alleged crime happened Friday evening in the parking lot of the Kmart in the 3900 block of West Northern Avenue.

Pueblo Police say that two men approached a woman as she exited the Kmart store around 7:30 p.m.  One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded her purse.  The victim complied and both suspects ran away to an apartment complex parking lot on Vinewood.

Witnesses chased the suspects until they got into the backseat of a black Hyundai Elantra (or similar vehicle) with tinted windows and partial license plate numbers 086.  The suspects drove away and still have not been found.

Both suspects were captured on a video surveillance photo prior to the incident.  The man in the gray reportedly had several tattoos, including a tattoo under his right eye.
