Pueblo man in ICU after weekend shooting

PUEBLO, Colo. - Family members say a Pueblo Man is in the intensive care unit at Parkview Medical Center after he was shot early Saturday.

Police were called to the Union Depot, 132 W. B Street, at 1:39 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 to investigate a report of a shooting.

When police arrived they found a man who had been shot lying in front of the depot.

The victim has been identified as Eugene Roy, 28.

Witnesses told police that the shooters may have been riding in a black truck with a tool box. Pueblo County Sheriff's Deputies spotted a truck that matched that description on the west side of town. The truck was stopped and two men were taken into custody as persons of interest in the case.

Police say the men are not considered suspects in the shooting. One of the men was taken to jail on a warrant. The other was released.
