Pueblo police investigate attempted kidnapping

PUEBLO, Colo. - Pueblo police are investigating an attempted kidnapping that happened Tuesday night.

A 27-year-old woman female told police she was running on 31st Street near Morton Elementary school when a white truck circled the block.  She said it went around the block twice before it started driving next to her.  The driver tried talking to her, but she did not respond and kept running.

Police say the truck then pulled over and the driver opened the door.  The woman ran off into a nearby park and called for help.

Police are looking for a white, older model extended cab with dark, tinted windows.  It had chrome bumpers and sat low to the ground.

The driver is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male in his mid 30s with a bald head, thin, dark mustache and wearing a dark plaid shirt.

The passenger is described as Hispanic, in his 20s, with short hair and wearing a white shirt with dark lettering on the front.
