COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Incidents at area parks kept Colorado Springs firefighters busy Monday afternoon (6/23/14).

A rescue that was underway at Garden of the Gods is now complete.

Police say a 17-year-old who was repelling on Cathedral Rock fell 40 feet. The teen was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Firefighters are also working to rescue five people who got lost at the Blodgett Open Space in the 3800 block of W. Woodmen Road.

El Paso County Search and Rescue has been called to help with the search.

They used GPS and cell phones to triangulate the position of the hikers.

The woman and four children have been found and are now being led to safety.
