Second suspect in Fountain robbery arrested

FOUNTAIN, Colo. - Fountain Police say a robbery suspect has been arrested in Kansas.

Breneka Suggs, 23, is suspected of robbing the Navy Federal Credit Union on Mesa Ridge Parkway.

The robbery happened on May 30, 2014. Police say it was pulled off by a man and woman duo.

Police say the woman, identified as Suggs, went into the credit union and handed a note to one of the tellers demanding money while the man, identified as James White, 22, waited in the car.

White was arrested in California shortly after the robbery.

Police say Suggs was arrested in Junction City, Kansas on August 4, 2014. They say someone called in an anonymous tip to the Junction City Police Department.

Suggs is being held at the Geary County Detention Center in Junction City.
