CSPD Seeks Serial Bank Robber

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Local authorities and bank officials have an idea of what he looks like, but they've been unable to catch him so far.

The unidentified man was last photographed on Monday while robbing the American National Bank on Briargate Parkway in Colorado Springs.  Police believe he's also a suspect in four robberies at the Academy Bank on Briargate Boulevard, the most recent in late July.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office previously said the man also may have committed two holdups at the Peoples bank on Woodmoor Drive in Monument.  The crimes happened on July 22 and May 24.  The robber's description and behavior were similar in both robberies, the Sheriff's Office said.

Call Colorado Springs police at 444-7000 or the Sheriff's Office at 390-5555 if you have any information about the robberies.
