Sheriff's Office seeks help finding missing woman

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a missing woman.

The woman's mother called deputies after she received a disturbing call from her daughter on Thursday. Deputies then went to check on the welfare of 31-year-old Rebecca Smith, but were unable to make contact with anyone.

Deputies executed a search warrant on the home and found evidence of a disturbance.

Authorities are now searching for Smith, as well as her boyfriend, 37-year-old Seth Ebert, who is a person of interest in Smith's disappearance. They believe the two could be traveling in Smith's green Mercury Mountaineer with Colorado license plate, 800-VTA.

If you have any information about where Smith and Ebert could be, call the Sheriff's Office at (719) 390-5555.
