COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Springs police are investigating three personal early morning armed-robberies Thursday.
The first robbery was reported at 1:20 Thursday morning. Police responded to a call at the Timberlane Apartments on East Bijou Street.
Two people tell police they were walking to a friend's apartment when they were confronted by a black man with a gun.
The man took items from both the people before fleeing on foot.
The victims tell police the man was around 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.
Police say two or three other men were seen in the area and also observed leaving the area.
Less than 15 minutes later police responded to another call about a personal robbery.
This one happened on East Dale Street.
Police say a black man approached the victim as he opened his passenger door, telling him to get out of the car.
When the man got out of the car, the man told him to lay on his stomach. He then demanded items from the man. The man told police there were possible two other suspects and at least one of them may have also been armed.
The man describes the robber as a black man, about 6 feet tall with a slim built.
The third robbery happened shortly after 5 a.m. on Delta Drive.
Police say the victim was walking on Delta Drive towards Chelton Road when a black 4-door sedan pulled up behind him and stopped.
He says a black man with dreadlocks got out of the car, put a gun to his head and demanded money.
Police say the robber fled in the sedan.
Police say they're investigating to see if any of these robberies are connected.
