Springs SWAT team uses tear gas to arrest suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police said one man is in custody after a SWAT team executed a warrant Wednesday morning (5/7/14).

The man was arrested on a warrant for felony menacing, police said.

SWAT teams surrounded a home on Endicott Drive. Officers shot tear gas into the home and the suspect came out and was taken into custody.

Police also said the suspect could be connected to a shots fired called on Endicott that happened Tuesday night.

Roads in the area were closed but are now reopen.
